  • Condition of the roof - missing shingles or tiles

  • Cracks in the walls

  • Upkeep of the homes in the neighborhood

  • Uneven floors

  • Peeled/chipped paint

  • Leaks and water stains on walls, floors, ceilings (specifically in the kitchen, bathrooms and other wet areas)

  • Mold

  • Cracks in the walls or ceilings

  • Musty odor

  • Check cabinets and draws

  • Check windows (ease of opening and shutting)

  • Ask to review the disclosures

  • Check closets and consider if space is adequate for your storage needs.

  • Picture your own furnishings in the space; will they fit?

  • Take notes and photos to refresh your memory when making a decision on which house you want to buy.

REMINDER: This is a Seller’s market, houses are literally on the market for hours before receiving offers. If you can picture yourself and family making this house your home, please consider making an offer ASAP, as you could miss the opportunity to make it your home.
